Salem Fabrication Supplies Welcomes Adam Rogutich as Product Development Manager

Salem Fabrication Supplies, a division of Salem Fabrication Technologies Group, Inc. (SFTG), is pleased to announce the addition of Adam Rogutich as Product Development Manager.  In this role, Rogutich will support the company’s continued focus on innovation, application-driven solutions, and alignment with evolving customer needs across the glass fabrication industry.

Adam Rogutich, Product Development Manager, Salem Fabrication SuppliesRogutich brings a unique blend of technical expertise and industry experience, supported by three degrees from Indiana State University in Aviation Flight Technology, Unmanned Systems, and Management.  His academic background includes advanced study in aerodynamics, mechanical and electrical systems, and the design and development of autonomous technologies providing a strong engineering foundation for process-driven manufacturing environments.

He began his career in the glass industry with SCHOTT, where he served as an R&D Project Manager focused on home appliance flat glass.  In that role, he researched market trends, evaluated emerging technologies, and led product development initiatives for the North American market.  His contributions included the successful launch of two new products with major OEM customers, with one currently patent pending.  Rogutich is also ISO 9001 certified through LLOYD’S as an auditor, reinforcing his experience in quality systems and process discipline.

Most recently, Rogutich held the position of Technology Development Engineer with SSW Advanced Technologies, where he conducted equipment audits, evaluated tooling and process capabilities, and supported the implementation of new equipment across North American operations.  His work emphasized practical improvements in efficiency, performance, and process consistency.

In his new role with Salem Fabrication Supplies, Rogutich will focus on advancing product development initiatives that address real-world fabrication challenges —leveraging his background in engineering, automation, and applied technology to support customers with thoughtful, forward-looking solutions.

“Adam brings a strong balance of technical depth and practical understanding of how glass is processed day to day,” said Ashley Price, Vice President of Supply Operations.  “His experience across product development, equipment evaluation, and customer-driven applications positions him well to help us continue developing solutions that are grounded in real shop needs and built for long-term performance.

Outside of work, Rogutich enjoys flying giant-scale remote control aircraft, collecting vintage Hot Wheels diecast cars (1968–1975), and playing electric guitar.  He and his wife stay active in their church and community and enjoy spending time with their young daughter.
